My name is Vernetta Lopez and IĄŻm a pretty simple girl! Truly! You could even call me a cheap date.
DonĄŻt have to spend on wine, or branded goods. Just a really nice dinner and a lovely bunch of flowers would make me very happy! Although, yes the dinner could see a penny or two less in your wallet!
IĄŻm a Cancerian on the cusp of Leo so IĄŻm usually a very torn person who sometimes cannot make a decision when it comes to which stall to choose from at Newton Hawker centre! But when it comes to big life decisions, hey, thatĄŻs a tough one for anyone.
I can be very ferocious when it comes to defending my family and loved ones but I can be such a wuss when it comes to accepting the double standard of loving to eat beef yet not accepting the fact that there are slaughter houses out there.
So you can pretty much guess that I could easily be a PETA person or Greenpeace member! But I have to try to be realistic and accept the social and economic constraints that hamper the race to save the environment. NO! I will not accept it. Yet I have to. See? My butt hurts from sitting on the fence so much.
But I do believe in the nations of the worldĄŻs efforts in trying to reduce greenhouse emissions. We have the technology. We just have to make it happen. And government ruling is the biggest factor in making the earth a healthier place to live in.
Anyhoot, enough about that. More of ME! IĄŻm currently on a crazed FRIENDS binge. My boyfriend gave me the whole complete collectorsĄŻ set of all the seasons of Friends and IĄŻm absolutely over the moon and in front of the tv!
I love watching re-runs, I love a good hug. IĄŻm hooked on Maggi Mee Assam Laksa and if they ever stop making it, IĄŻll buy over the recipe and run the company myself! IĄŻm also crazy about soup and thatĄŻs why people think IĄŻm Cantonese. Although IĄŻm actually a healthy mix of the Peranakan and Eurasian cultures. My dream vacation would be to relax under a coconut tree and stare at crystal clear blue waters on a Hawaiian beach.
IĄŻm a raging screaming nutcase on the roads if bad drivers piss me off but I only express it via my voice, not through my driving.
I own a voice training business called Art of Voice with my colleague Jessica Seet. I also run a wedding planner company called Eternally Yours. I would love to continue working in radio and tv for a long time to come. And oh yes, I would like to do a Hollywood movie real soon. Can someone get Zhang Zhi Yi out of the way?
I love my family and I will physically hurt anybody who hurts them. I love animals cos theyĄŻre generally cute and cuddly especially cats. And I love rainy days cos you can either walk in it and feel totally alive and one with nature. Or you can sit at home and cuddle with your sweetheart with a hot cup of tea.
